About the Trip

Explore practical applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics while visiting the industrious country of Germany. Learn about the engineering and science of solar and hydroelectric power plants, then, in Munich, visit the world’s largest science and technology museum, marveling at the innovations of the past. Continue on and see cutting-edge technology in the beautiful Lucerne region of Switzerland. Top off the trip with a visit to Our Chalet, the first World Center, in the beautiful Alps. This Destination combines elements of STEM and the outdoors into an exciting adventure.

Included in the tour are visits to Neuschwanstein Castle, the castle that inspired Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Olympic Stadium in Munich, and Mt. Pilatus or Mt. Rigi.

What to Know

Girls on this Destination should have a keen sense of adventure. An interest in STEM is a plus!

The Dates

July 19 - 30, 2020

Must be 12 – 18 years old at the time of the event.

What to Bring

Packing list will be provided after acceptance.

Girls need to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the trip.

The Cost

Program Fee: $5,585

Program Fee includes: Boston orientation, round trip airfare from Boston Logan airport, hotels in each city, all breakfasts and dinners, all entry fees and sightseeing tours in itinerary, transportation, and a full time bilingual tour director and local guides.

Program fee does not include airfare to Boston. You will have to provide your own transportation to Logan International Airport. Program fee does not include lunches, tipping (to be collected by your group leader) and souvenir money. Suggested spending amounts will be given upon enrollment.

A $300 non-refundable deposit will be due upon acceptance.
