About the Trip

Mere miles from the coast of Spain, Morocco lies at the intersection of Middle Eastern history, Berber* life, and European influence. Its location at the entrance of the Mediterranean Sea made this North African country an area of special importance throughout history and even today. Morocco’s centuries-old traditions and modernity exist side by side…and we’ll experience all of it!

This trip is a perfect fusion of outdoor adventure, history, and culture. You’ll soak up the sun on the beach while surfing and stand-up paddleboarding; visit beautiful palaces, maze-like medinas*, and ancient ruins; explore both bustling cities and small mountain villages…and even take selfies while riding camels and ziplining! Practice your new French, Arabic, and Berber language skills in cooking classes, at bustling souks*, and while connecting with local families and giving back to the communities we visit. Join us as we walk through time in Casablanca, the Atlas Mountains, Marrakesh, and Essaouira!
