About the Trip

Explore the heart of Mexico from the mountains to the sea! We’ll start our adventure with an international friendship program at the Our Cabana WAGGGS World Center in Cuernavaca, Mexico. While there you’ll make new friends from around the world, learn about Mexican culture, participate in a meaningful service project, go white water rafting or waterfall jumping, see local sights and artisan markets. After enjoying all that Our Cabana can offer, head to the tropical seaside town of Acapulco where you can explore the marine environment snorkeling and participating in other aquatic activities. This trip has something for everyone!

What to Know

This trip is ideal for girls with interest in culture, art, exploration, high-adventure and marine studies. Girls will have the opportunity to participate in a few high-adventure activities that may include waterfall jumping, rafting, snorkeling etc. Hiking and walking will be included most days.

You must be at least 14 years old at the time of the trip.

The Cost

Program Fee: $2,700 (The actual program fee for this Destination is $3,200, but all girls who participate will receive a $500 scholarship, through a generous gift from the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund.)

Program Fee includes: all meals, accommodations, tours, and round-trip airfare to Mexico from Denver, Colorado.

Program Fee does not include airfare to Denver. You will have to provide your own transportation to and from Denver International Airport.

A $400 non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance.
