About the Trip

Get ready for the ultimate outdoor wilderness experience at Camp Natarswi based in Maine’s forever wild Baxter State Park!

For 12 days, you’ll work on enhancing and mastering your outdoor survival and wilderness skills including fire starting, shelter building, navigation, wilderness first aid and more. You’ll embark on outdoor adventures and challenges that put your wilderness skills to the test as you hike along the rocky terrain of the Appalachian Trail, white water raft along Maine’s wildest river, explore ice caves, and hike along boulder-strewn trails to summit Maine’s tallest mountain, with an elevation of over 5000 feet, Mt. Katahdin.

You’ll make the most of your Maine experience as you challenge yourself and your group with planning and executing overnight backpacking adventures, both on foot and by canoe, sleeping under the stars in the remote woods of Baxter State Park, all while earning your Trail Adventure Badge and building lasting friendships and a lifetime of memories!
