About the Trip

Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, International Division, to offer this exciting adventure through Japan! Start your journey in Tokyo, where you’ll eat fresh sushi, navigate historic temples, and the many neighborhoods and markets of this sprawling city. Your trek will continue as you explore Mt. Fuji and other cities, meet local Girl Scouts, and discover what makes Japan so enchanting.

Highlights of this trip include touring Tokyo, taking a traditional cooking class, experiencing art history, and visiting Mt. Fuji. Girls who travel on this Destination will gain a rich appreciation for another culture, in addition to getting to know girls from across the nation and developing independence on an international adventure.
