About the Trip

The original J. Low—Juliette Gordon Low, that is—was a woman ahead of her time and the founder of the Girl Scout Movement.

The Juliette “Daisy” Gordon Low Birthplace—the home where Daisy was born and raised—is a registered National Historic Landmark. You can tour the house museum, see Daisy’s artwork, and hear stories about life in her day. Daisy was passionate about giving girls opportunities to have adventures and be independent and creative.

The Birthplace is filled with rich stories and experiences reflecting the arc of the life of Juliette Gordon Low, her belief in the potential of every girl, and the remarkable worldwide Girl Scout movement she founded that changed the world.
