About the Trip

Get ready for a week of unforgettable activity and leadership building in Channel Islands National Park, off the coast of California, with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles! Snorkel, hike, kayak and learn about protected marine species- this is your chance to discover a new world, and challenge yourself to try new adventures!

After touching down in Los Angeles, you’ll meet your fellow Girl Scouts and spend the evening getting prepared for a week of self-discovery and leadership skill-building. On Day 2, we board the ferry to Santa Cruz island, and set up our island campsite! Spend the week exploring this natural wonderland through hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and stargazing – all while learning about yourself and your new friends. After wrapping up our camping adventure, we’ll cap the trip off with a day at a LA amusement park (girls choice!) before departing for home on Day 8.

Experience a whole new side of California on this special adventure to the Channel Islands National Park.
