About the Trip

If you are a girl who loves adventure, trying new things, and exploring other countries and cultures, this Belize – Land and Sea Destination is for you!

For seven amazing days in Belize, hike through lush forest, ride a riverboat, and snorkel in the Caribbean. Explore the fascinating history and culture of the indigenous people while practicing “survival skills’ taught by Belizean bushmen. Visit the archaeological sites of Lamanai and Xunantunich and learn about the ancient Maya culture. Observe tropical aquatic and forest wildlife up close and personal. Go tubing in hidden caves. Visit a local school and tour the Belize Zoo. Take a nature walk and view howler monkeys and other indigenous wildlife at the Community Baboon Sanctuary. Investigate the diverse tropical underwater world at Ambergris Caye.

This trip also includes a mandatory 2-day pre-tour team-building and informational orientation and a 1-day post-tour wrap-up in Boston, MA, which is our gateway city where participants will start from and return to for this amazing international journey.

What to Know

A sense of adventure is essential! Swimming proficiency is required because of the extensive aquatic activities, and participants must to be able to walk five miles in a tropical climate. An interest in natural science, both marine and terrestrial, is encouraged. A willingness to learn about and participate in local culture and customs is expected. We are looking for opened-minded, drama-free, easy-to-get-along-with girls who will make this trip fun and enjoyable for all participants.

The Dates

July 22 - July 31, 2018

This tropical adventure is for girls who will be 14 to 18-years-old at time of travel.

The Cost

Program Fee: $3,885

Program Fee includes: Boston orientation, round trip airfare from Boston Logan airport, hotels in each city, all meals, all entry fees and sightseeing tours in itinerary, transportation, tips, and a full-time bilingual tour director and local guides.

Program fee does not include airfare between your starting location and Boston, nor in-transit meals. You will have to provide your own transportation to and from Logan International Airport and your location of origin, and in-transit meals while traveling to and from Boston. Program fee does not include souvenir money and miscellaneous expenses. Suggested spending amounts will be given upon enrollment.

A $345 non-refundable deposit will be due upon acceptance.
