About the Trip

Explore college and career preparation through an immersive experience in science, technology, engineering and math. Trainees experience a variety of astronaut training exercises, engineering challenges and teambuilding activities all culminating in an extended-duration simulated space mission.

During your six-day Advanced Space Academy® experience at Space Camp® in Huntsville, Alabama, you and other Girl Scouts are challenged to step up as leaders and work together and communicate as a team. Experience the thrill of simulated spaceflight missions, train on astronaut simulators including the Multi-Axis Trainer and 1/6th Gravity Chair and conduct a simulated SCUBA spacewalk in our Underwater Astronaut Trainer.

Earn your wings and enjoy our Space Camp® alumni community of more than 750,000 graduates! Over 35,000 trainees complete our program every year and go on to become scientists, doctors, engineers, teachers and even astronauts. Do you have what it takes to be “The Right Stuff”? Find out at Advanced Space Academy!
