About the Trip

Explore college and career preparation through an immersive experience focused on cyber technologies. Trainees assemble computers, code in Python in a Linux environment, learn the ethics and responsibilities of personal data security and meet with cyber security experts to learn how they are safe-guarding electronic information.

During your six-day Advanced Cyber Academy® experience at Space Camp® in Huntsville, Alabama, you and other Girl Scouts are challenged to step up as leaders, work together and communicate as a team. With case studies and information provided by our partners at the FBI, Cyber Huntsville and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, campers finish their week with a realistic mission that applies their skills to locate and avoid or recover from a cyber threat.

Are you ready to take on today’s cyber threats and help keep the internet safe for others? 40,000 trainees complete our Space Camp programs every year and go on to become scientists, doctors, engineers, teachers and even astronauts. You can join them!
