Life’s a Parade!

Jul 04, 2012

As you chow down on barbecue, watch fireworks, and celebrate the Fourth of July, here are some things your busy Girl Scout sisters are up to:

• In Elgin, Illinois, the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois will lead the annual Independence Day parade as grand marshals.

• Girls Scouts will march in New York’s Kingston Valley Hyde Park parade.

• Troop 1317 in Lancaster, Ohio, has been busy working on a float for its hometown parade.

• Girl Scouts in San Marino, California, will walk a 1.5-mile parade route, and take part in the Flag Salute before the evening’s fireworks show.

Make your Independence Day a fun, healthy, and safe one!
