Girl Scouts Star in State Fair
Oct 10, 2012
The Girl Scouts are a main attraction at this year’s 2012 State Fair of Texas in Dallas. At the fair, held from September 28 through October 21, the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas are hosting the Girl Scout 100th Anniversary Experience, where you can walk through a life-size cookie box, be part of a virtual troop and campfire, and explore an interactive replica of GS founder Juliette Gordon Low’s home. And, for the ultimate indulgence, taste a Girl Scout Samoas cookie—fried! Some upcoming Girl Scouts events include a flash mob, a SWAPS exchange, and sealing a time capsule. If you can’t make the fair, you can still follow the fun here.
