These days, not much comes between girls and their video games. That’s why Girl Scouts of the USA and Dell are sponsoring Game On: Girls and Technology, a live interactive event that will explore ways to get girls interested in computer science and technology careers so that they can develop the very games they love to play. Gaming experts and tech leaders will talk about what’s new and exciting for girls in gaming, and there will be a demo of Girl Scouts’ new Be the Video Game Developer, which allows girls to pick the characters, background, and music to create the world within a video game.
Game On: Girls and Technology is set for Wednesday, September 18 at 9:00 a.m. EST at GS Headquarters in New York City and will be live streamed. Girl Scout Seniors working on their Website Designer badge may want to check out the conversation too. To live stream the event, click here.
